The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Soldiers Party

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with extensive world-building, a colorful mix of personalities, and a thrilling plot including divine entities, fiends, and sinister influences growing in power within the city.

Warning: Revealing details for Episode 3 of this adventure lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

The third episode finished on a huge suspense moment and revealed the initial group of characters who will separate from the main group to undertake their independent quest, distinct from the other two tables.

This warrior group consists of Teor (brought to life by Travis), the agile character (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

With a large ensemble, it was clear from the beginning that having everyone at one table would be unworkable.

This explains, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, connecting the individual narratives before branching into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Schemers, and Questers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for participants who enjoy a typically action-packed battle-oriented story mode where peaceful solutions are rare.

Upon first impression, characters like the hesitant healer the cleric might look out of place, but the events of episode 3 make it clear why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the group has a clear idea where to proceed after a violent opening clash with the enemy group.

An old friend of the deceased character—whose passing started the story’s plot—manipulated the foes for his selfish purposes, breaking into Thjazi’s hideout, attacking Thimble, and taking all the powerful objects to dispose of.

The antagonist then paid off his liabilities and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the city, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each character has a personal reason to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and trusted friend, wants revenge.
  • The adventurer knows the region and warns that it is a dangerous location.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having disobeyed his house’s orders to kill the target and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their position as prominent individuals in the influential clan could enable the team reach areas they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, The fighter vowed a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his salvation and will now go with him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are sought by the authorities that rule Dol-Makjar for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • The rogue and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and The healer defied the influential house and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • The target is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This leaves them little choice but to journey toward the northern region in pursuit of the traitor.

Future Episodes

Based on episode three’s post-show segment, we learn that the Soldiers table will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight participants to form the Questers and Strategists parties.

Viewers can expect finding out which players will be where in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
